Free to enter, just use the elevator. You don't need to book anything in advance. Really nice few over the inner city. There is a small bar with snacks.
Lovely rooftop viewpoint, they have shelter area and chairs with umbrella for you to sit, relax and enjoy the view. A small stall sells refreshments. The video below really doesn't do it justice, you really need to come see it yourself. Since entry is free there isn't really excuse not to come and check it out.
Access is via a lift outside on the west side of the leopold Museum, look for the lift in the photo below.
Free of charge getting on to the rooftop of Leopold Museum from the side of the building which is not well marked. Pretty good views. They could do more to the bar area. It lacks shade on a sunny day.
Do not drink here. 15 euros for a cocktail that should be 7. Extreme tourist trap. You can visit the roof for free, but take pictures and then go to another bar
A wonderful terrace on the top floor of the museum with spaced tables, sofas and umbrellas. Really good cocktails !!! Normal prices. Very kind staff ! All the anticovid- 19 norms respected. Convenient access for the disabled.
Wow, what a view. Perfect place for a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon. Fair prices at the bar, free entry to rooftop to look around.
My new favorite place in Vienna! Free entrance to the terrace. There is also a lovely bar on top. The view is breathtaking!
You get a nice view of the museum quarter as well as the natural history and art history museums from the rooftop. It's very well designed. There are umbrellas and seating, so even on a hot and sunny day you can stay there for a while.
There's also a cafe that serves drinks, but they tend to be over priced.
